This tutorial is to add the beam emitter as a new projectile. - Make a folder on desktop, name it build and put an un-modded bloodgulch map into it.
- Open up bloodgulch (the one you just put in the folder) in hmt go to tools extract, batch extract and check the box that says extract metadata, extract this to your build folder.
- Now open up map a10, go down to the [proj] tag and recursively save levels\a30\devices beam emitter\beam to the build folder.
- Now time to rebuild, go to tools rebuild map, then browse for the bloodgulch map that you placed in your build folder then click yes to automatically fill in required fields.
- Right click on the blank box at the bottom and click add. Go to your build\levels\a30\devices\beam emitter folder and add the meta file that says beam.proj.meta. Click Build at the top.
- Go into your build folder, rename your bloodgulch.map.rebuild to bloodgulch.map and swap the proj. of one weapon with the beam emitter. Save and play with your new beam emitter. ;D
Any questions or need of screen shots just pm me and i'll be happy to assist.

Cool! And this is an entirely different thing from Perfect Model Injection, right? And here's a pic I took of the Beam... I would actually suggest adding this to the mod! It would make the vehicles more important and useful if they could fight back!!

Hehe, I'm already experimenting with it. Since I have my own gametype, not made for this mod (starts with pistol and AR) I decided to mod the AR. I changed the ROF to 10 from 15, and made the clip only hold 20 shots (1/3 of the usual 60). And guess what! Now it shoots BEAMS. Hehe... I got a pic that shows you exactly how close will kill you with the beam (without additional modding)

That may be a bit too bright... As you can see in this pic, it's rather blinding when you shoot it. Now, it doesn't turn your screen black for 10 seconds like the hugeass nuke does, but it makes it fairly hard to see.
